Yolande has been photographing nature, Vancouver and parts of France, Mexico, Arizona and Quebec for the last 15 years. Her love of nature stems back to her childhood in Quebec where she had a vegetable garden at age 3 (with the help of her Papa!), and her years studying Geography in University. An avid gardener, Yolande also teaches French conversation at Continuing Studies at U.B.C. and takes groups of adults to France to meet local people, practice the language and discover and photograph the beauty of the Southern France countryside. Yolande makes and sells greeting cards and framed enlargements of her favourite images.
