As a visual artist Ms. Dextras’ style is mixed media, incorporating photography and sculpture. Her photographs have been featured in several Canadian and American art publications. Her art studio is located on Granville Island and she currently teaches part time through the Emily Carr Institute. She has been instrumental in founding two art organizations: the BC Book Arts Guild and the Artists and Artisans of Granville Island.
